Diversity & Inclusion

Supporting the people behind our innovation

At RazorSecure, diversity drives innovation. Our team comes from many countries and together speaks more than a dozen languages. That range of backgrounds gives us more ways to look at a hard problem, and it shows in the cyber security for rail that we deliver. It also makes RazorSecure a happier and more productive place to work.

Equal Treatment

A diverse team gives us a wide range of perspectives and knowledge, and that supports innovation. We build an inclusive environment where everyone can do their best work, regardless of their background, identity, or circumstances. We support initiatives for women in tech, promote equal pay at every level of the company, and give everyone the same opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

We also apply a strict zero-tolerance policy for discrimination based on factors such as age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or parental status. Every individual on the team can contribute their own talents and perspectives.

Work Life Balance

A healthy work-life balance matters for each person and for the whole team. We work remotely and schedule flexibly, so you can manage your responsibilities outside work. Family matters: we offer generous parental support and family-friendly leave policies. We measure productivity by results, not hours worked, so you manage your own workload, with regular reviews. We also encourage volunteering and offer flexible holidays, so you have time for personal interests and for your community. The result is a working life that leaves room for everything outside work.

Access to Opportunity

We invest in your development. Every employee has a personal learning and development budget for certifications and training programs that match their career plans. Our flat structure means everyone has an equal opportunity to share ideas and contribute to strategic discussions. We support progression within the company through regular reviews, mentorship programs, and internal job postings, so you can build a career at RazorSecure.

A diverse workforce reflects the communities we serve. Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) gets the best work from our team and leads to better outcomes, in a workplace that values the contribution of every team member.

We welcome neurodiversity at RazorSecure. People with neurodiverse ways of working bring new perspectives and talents to our team, and that improves our creativity and innovation. We run awareness training and offer flexible work arrangements, so that all employees can work well, feel valued, and feel respected.

Sense of Belonging

Our team works on trust, fair treatment, and open communication. We support your interests outside work, from theatre groups to volunteering in your community or with charities.

Positive feedback, constructive one-on-one meetings, team collaboration, and social events all help you contribute your best, both professionally and personally. We value your individual contributions and want you to feel connected to your colleagues. At RazorSecure, you'll find a true sense of belonging.

Our EDI strategy includes Deaf awareness in how we develop and deliver projects. On our DfT TRIG Digital Maintenance project, we made all user interfaces and documentation accessible for people with hearing impairments. We captioned every video conference and used real-time text communication tools throughout the project. This work shows how we apply these principles, and it opens our work to a wider range of talent. You can read more about accessible digital maintenance.
