RazorSecure has entered a strategic partnership with Sweden based Westermo - a global company specialising in industrial data communications solutions in the rail and energy sectors. The collaboration accelerates innovation and brings integrated hardware and software solutions to rail customers globally.
Under the agreement, the companies will collaborate technically and commercially to combine RazorSecure’s rail proven cybersecurity capabilities with Westermo’s expertise in onboard networking, enabling more integrated and resilient solutions for train operators and train manufacturers. Benefits include enhanced system protection, simplified deployment, and stronger lifecycle support, from rollout to operations.
The partnership expands the integration options available to rail operators, building on established operational and security practices without disrupting current environments.
The agreement also includes investment from Westermo’s parent company Ependion who will acquire a minority stake in RazorSecure.
